Every growing business reaches a point where its own cash is not enough: a large contract needs to be delivered, stock needs to be bought ahead of a season, a new branch is ready to open, or a new project needs start-up capital. Business financing bridges that gap. Our role is to understand the business, prepare a strong file and match it with banks that actually lend to companies of your size and sector.
What we can help finance
- Working capital: funding for stock, receivables, payroll and supplier payments.
- Expansion: new branches, equipment, vehicles, fit-out and technology.
- New projects: start-up and launch costs for a new line of business, supported by a feasibility study.
- Contract financing: funding linked to specific contracts or purchase orders, where banks offer it.
Depending on the bank and the company's profile, amounts typically range from around AED 100,000 up to AED 10 million. The final amount and structure are always decided by the bank.
Feasibility studies and financial planning
A clear feasibility study often makes the difference between a declined and an approved request, especially for new projects. Through our project management partners, we help prepare feasibility studies, market and competitor analysis, cash-flow forecasts and repayment plans that a credit officer can understand and trust.
Repayment and security
We aim to align the repayment schedule, as far as the bank allows, with the way cash actually comes into the business, whether monthly, seasonal or project-based. Banks may ask for different forms of security, including assigned receivables, post-dated cheques, cash margins, property mortgages or personal guarantees from the owners. We explain each one and its implications before you agree.
What banks usually review
- Trade licence, memorandum of association and ownership structure.
- Audited or management financial statements and recent bank statements.
- The company's and the owners' credit records with Al Etihad Credit Bureau.
- Time in business, sector risk and existing facilities with other banks.
When to start preparing
Contact us well before you actually need the funds. Company applications usually take longer than personal ones, and banks often ask for extra documents or clarifications during their review. Early preparation also gives you a better position to negotiate terms.
Who is it for
- Start-ups with a clear plan and owners willing to support the request.
- Small and medium enterprises with a track record in the UAE.
- Large companies planning expansion or new projects.
How it works with Lugain Global
- Discovery meeting: we understand the business, the need and the timing.
- Financial review: we analyse statements, cash flow and existing commitments.
- File preparation: we build the credit file, including a feasibility study where needed.
- Bank matching: we approach partner banks whose appetite matches your sector and size.
- Negotiation and follow-up: we compare offers and follow up until the facility is available.
Important to know
Banks apply their own credit policies and may be stricter than described here. A feasibility study supports a request but does not guarantee approval. Lugain Global is a financing broker, not a lender, and our fees are agreed in writing before work starts.
